Many thanks to Kevin Hollett for his review of my collection of short stories People Who Disappear in Vancouver’s street newspaper, Megaphone.
From the review:
The connective tissue in her stories may not be obvious at first, but many of the characters are similarly struggling with relationships, platonic and romantic, fumbling with identity yet wise to how they are being perceived. For them, it can be alienating or it can be thrilling. That the character’s responses are true to their form speaks to Leslie’s deft hand. he characters in Like Mind and Bodies of Others are skillfully sketched out, their stories bordering on revelatory.
