The Capilano Review put out a narrative issue recently. It’s a mix of different kinds of narrative (both prose and poetry) work happening in Canada, including visual work and a great interview by Susan Holbrook with Nicole Brossard. They’ve put out an online folio this week that includes responses by contributors to work in the issue. Jordan Abel responded to my pieces in the issue and my panel response to Bhanu Kapil’s work is also in there (from the event in February when she was in town) and my response to Meredith Quartermain’s pieces in the issue. There are responses from Jen Currin, derek beaulieu, Meredith Quartermain, Gail Scott and Ashok Mathur. You can read the folio here. I love this way of creating an ongoing conversation around an issue. All respondents in the folio including me will be blogging about narrative for TCR until the end of June.
